A Senior Partner
at The Forge HR Group, Josie Crockett
BA hons has been making an impression
on the Scottish recruitment industry
for the past 19 years, with experience
recruiting all levels of personnel
from office junior to chief executive.
Her career started when she set up
the commercial arm of ASA international,
and was a director with the company
for five years.
She then became managing director
of Carol Jones Recruitment, grew its
commercial base whilst establishing
sales & marketing and financial
divisions, and rebranded as Caledonian
Recruitment.
In 1996 Josie was financed in a management
buy out by the Pertemps Recruitment
Partnership; allowing her to expand
further into the Glasgow market and
utilise the latest techniques in call
centre recruitment and account management.
Josie resigned in 1998 for personal
reasons and spent time travelling
primarily in New Zealand. On her return
in mid-1999 she managed a series of
consultancy assignments for the Pertemps
Recruitment Partnership before deciding
to launch a new Human Resource Consultancy
in January 2000. Josie is an Associate
